How to Send Polkadot (DOT) to Moonbeam Using XCM

Step 1: Open XCM Page

From StellaSwap Dapp navigate to Transfers then Cross-Chain XCM Transfer or directly head to https://app.stellaswap.com/bridge/xctransfer

Step 2: Select DOT Token

Click on tokens to transfer, and select DOT. Then to send tokens from Polkadot to Moonbeam choose Deposit

Step 3: Connect Wallet

After clicking deposit, you will be prompted to connect your substrate wallet. You can choose your wallet from three options, the tutorial is using Polkadot.js wallet. If you are unfamiliar with Substrate wallets click here to learn more

Step 4: Input Required Info

On this page you have to enter the desired amount you would like to send and the account you are sending from. Once done you can go ahead and click Send. You will be prompted to sign the transaction in your wallet.

Step 5: Check Status

After submitting the transaction it usually takes less than a minute to go through, once you see the message Transaction Submitted you are done!

How to Get Native USDT(.xc) On Moonbeam

Here is a step by step guide on how to get native USDT (xcUSDT) on Moonbeam network directly from Binance Exchange. This guide will walk you through withdrawing USDT from Binance all the way to getting USDT on your Metamask wallet to do DeFi things on StellaSwap.

What You Will Need:

1. USDT on Binance

2. Polkadot Wallet, guide is using Polkadot.js extension

3. MetaMask Wallet

4. Small amount of DOT

Step 1: Ensure You Have DOT on StateMint

Make sure you have at least 0.1 DOT on the Polkadot address you want to withdraw to on Statemint, without DOT the withdrawal will not succeed. To send funds from Polkadot or any parachain to Statemint you can use https://polkadot.js.org/apps, under Accounts select Teleport

Set destination to Statemint and input at least 0.1 DOT and send.

2. Withdraw USDT from Binance to Statemint

Head to Binance, go to spot wallet then find Tether USDT and click on withdraw. Make sure ot select the right network: STATEMINT(Polkadot), Input your Address, amount and request withdrawal. Once done you will be able to see it on Statemint block explorer, head to https://statemint.subscan.io/ and paste your address in the search bar.

3. Send USDT to Moonbeam

Once you have USDT on Statemint you can use XCM channel (Cross-chain XC Transfer) to send it across Polkadot parachains. Head to https://app.stellaswap.com/bridge/xctransfer, or simply navigate to Transfer, Cross-chain Transfer if you are already on StellaSwap Dappp.

Select USDt.xc as token and click on Deposit, connect to a wallet prompt may come up if you don't already have your polkadot wallet connected.

Input the amount you would like to send to Moonbeam and click Send, once you sign transaction in your wallet it will take few moments for the transaction to arrive.

4. Add Token to Metamask

Once transaction is done you will have xcUSDT on Moonbeam, you can add token contract address to Metamask to easily interact with it and see your balance. Just click on add xcUSDT to MetaMask and confirm add token on the metamask prompt.

5. Sucess you have successfully sent Native USDT to Moonbeam!

How to Get Centrifuge (CFG) Token On Moonbeam

How to Get Bifrost (BNC) Token On Moonbeam

Step 1: Open XCM Page

Head to https://apps.moonbeam.network/moonbeam/xcm

Step 2: Select BNC Token and Bifrost Network

Click on Token and from the drop down menu select BNC. Under From section choose Bifrost, and make sure the To is set to Moonbeam.

Step 3: Enter Amount To Send

Enter amount you would like to send and click Send, then sign the transaction.

Step 4: Wait For Transfer To Complete

After signing the transaction you will see this transaction status page, where you can wait for your funds to get through. It should not take long.

Step 5: Success! You Now Have BNC on Moonbeam

Once Transaction is done and you see the status changed to Transaction Completed, you now have BNC on Moonbeam and can start trading, farming on StellaSwap Dapp.
